In 2015, Mark was invited to write and direct the prestigious Baku 1^st European Games Presidential Flame Capture Ceremony.  Located in the naturally occurring fire landscape of Atashga, the ceremony brought together an orchestra, local and international dancers, children, drummers, fire, projection mapping, pyrotechnics and the President of Azerbaijan to create a show around the iconic lighting of the Games Torch.
